Age Classes 2023 : We adapt the age categories for foreign teams if necessary

Boys 11v11

B09/10 – U14/U15
B11 –  U13

Boys 8v8

B12 – U12
B13 – U11
B14 – U10
B15 – U9

Matches
  • Each team will play a minimum five (5) matches
  • All 11v11 matches with linesmen
  • Playing time: 11v11 – 2×15min, 8v8 – 2×10min.
  • 11v11 minimum 13 players, maximum 22 players per team, 8v8 – minimum 8 players, maximum 16 players per team
  • No age dispensations will be given. 
  • Player can play only for one team in the tournament
  • Only the coaching staff (max 2 coaches per team) with tournament bracelet can be on the team bench during the matches.

Age Control

The age control of all the players will take place before their first match. At this time each player must be present and show proof of identity (passport or id-card) and age. Any player who is not able to present his document can not participate in the tournament. Player can only play for one team. IMPORTANT NOTE: If a player, who is not properly registered plays in a match, the team automatically loses the match 3-0.

Team coaches must show proof of identity (passport or id-card with photo).

Offside Rule

There will also be an offside rule in the 7v7 matches. The offside rule applies from the offside line (this line is level with the goalkeeper area).

Match Balls

11v11 – size 5 ball, 8v8 – size 4 ball.

Playing time

11v11 – 2×15min, 8v8 – 2×10min.

Group Matches

If two or more teams have the same number of points, the order will be decided as follows:
1) General goal difference
2) General goals scored
3) Result(s) of match(es) between those teams
4) Goal difference in match(es) between those teams
5) Goals scored in match(es) between those teams
6) Penalty kicks (5) according to FIFA rules

Play-off Matches

A draw in the playoff matches will be decided by penalty kicks (5) according to FIFA rules.

Substitutions

Substitutions may be made without stopping the game and without consulting the referee, using the following procedure: the player who is going to be substituted has to leave the field before the replacement enters the field and always by the zone of the benches. A substituted player may re-enter the match.

Playing Fields

All matches will played on artificial and natural grass pitches. It is strictly forbidden to use metal studs.

Players Equipment

All team shirts must be numbered and the numbers must correspond to the numbers on the team list. Numbers must be on the backs of the shirts. Two players may not use the same number in any given match. If the referee decides that one team should change shirts due to similarity to the opposing team’s shirts, the team appearing second in the program must change.

Cautions and Sending-off Offences

Any player given a red card is automatically suspended from participation in the following match. The tournament jury can decide about suspension for further game(s). Yellow cards are not accumulated. Severe offences will be reported to the football federation in question. IMPORTANT NOTE: If a player who is suspended is participating in a match, the team automatically loses the match 3-0.

Protest

All protests must be handed to a Tournament Official a maximum of 15 minutes after the end of the match. The protest fee is €100 which will be returned if the protest is sustained. No protests against referees will be accepted.

Teams Behaviour 

Any team behaving badly during the competition (protests about referee’s decisions, clashes with rivals or with the organization) can be expelled from the tournament. All serious cases of expulsion will be reported to the football federation in question. Team leaders of the teams will be responsible for the attitude and behaviour of their players towards referees, opponents, public, organisation and facilities.

Trophies

Four best teams of each age group get a trophy.
Each player gets a medal.

In each age class there will be following trophies given to:

Top Scorer

If two or more players have the same number of goals scored, the order will be decided as follows:
1) Higher final position of the team
2) Higher number of matches goals scored in
3) Goals scored in Final match
4) Goals scored in Semi-final match

Best Goalkeeper (least goals conceded)

If two or more teams have the same number of goals conceded, the order will be decided as follows:
1) Higher number of matches played by the team
2) Higher final position of the team

Best Player

Will be chosen by the Organising Committee.

Insurance

All Clubs must have their players insured both on and off the field. Teams are reminded it is their responsibility to ensure players have their European Health Cards and private insurance details with them.

Tournament will not assume responsibility in case of theft or damage to property, injuries or other actions of the public authorities or organization transport due to strikes.

Clubs are responsible for the participants at the tournament as they are the ones who have registered stating that all the players are physically able for the event. Tournament is not responsible for the damages that the participants cause to themselves or to other participants during the competition.
